NFL 2020 week four predictions

NFL 2020 Week Four Predictions

Week 3 threw up some excellent matches even if my predictions didn’t live up to the same standards. But just like some of the losing teams from last week, I am ready to dust myself down and go again.

Here are my NFL Week Four Predictions:

Denver Broncos @ New York Jets

Probably not the most exciting tie to kick off week 4. So far neither offense has got going. Having said that the Broncos would be hard pushed not to get a decent tally on the board against this Jets defense.

Broncos 24 Jets 10

Indianapolis Colts @ Chicago Bears

This is an interesting one. Did anyone expect the Bears to be 3-0 so far? Not me. On the other side, veteran Quarterback Philip Rivers helped rack up 36 points last week and the defense only allowed for 7. I think the Bears good run will come to a stop for this week at least.

Colts 28 Bears 21

New Orleans Saints @ Detroit Lions

A defeat for either team will give them a 1-3 record. Not a great start. Detroit might have the momentum after last weeks win. Both sides are losing a lot of points at the moment so it could a shoot out between Drew Brees and Matthew Stafford. Let’s hope so!

Saints 35 Lions 32

Arizona Cardinals @ Carolina Panthers

Kyler Murray and his Cardinals teams bright start to the campaign hit a Detroit wall last week. Maybe they are not as hot as we all thought? It’s another tough test this week against a Panthers team who looked pretty decent against the Chargers last week as they look to pick things up. This will be a tight one.

Cardinals 21 Panthers 24

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been given some hope so far this season in the form of Quarterback Joe Burrows (despite 14 sacks so far this season). He could prove to be difference against a struggling Jags side who lost to the Dolphins last week.

Jaguars 21 Bengals 28

Cleveland Browns @ Dallas Cowboys

Are we finally seeing this Browns team reach its potential? Two wins in a row would suggest that is a possibility. The Cowboys on the other hand are stuttering. Mayfield and co will be looking to build on their momentum here.

Browns 31 Cowboys 30

Minnesota Vikings @ Houston Texans

I couldn’t have been the only one who expected big things from these teams before the season kicked off. Amazingly one of these sides are facing a 0-4 record after this game. The pressure is on both coaches already in what could be a tight nervy game.

Viking 26 Texans 23

Seattle Seahawks @ Miami Dolphins

The Seahawks are 3-0 this season and Quarterback Russell Wilson is looking very good. Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t doing too badly for Miami either and they had a good win last week. These 2 teams are different paths this year though and the Seahawks will have too much firepower for this Dolphins defense.

Seahawks 35 Dolphins 21

Los Angeles Chargers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady looks like he is settling into his new team and that is a warning sign for everyone they play now. Even more good news for the Buccaneers is a defense that is holding up well so far. The Chargers are capable of pushing most teams close but I can see them being edged out here.

Chargers 20 Buccaneers 30

Baltimore Ravens @ Washington Football Team

Washington has a good record against the Ravens in recent years and they have looked better than most predicted so far this season. Having said that, Lamar Jackson will be looking to help the Ravens bounce back from last weeks defeat to the Chiefs and I think he will have his way.

Ravens 35 Washigton 17

New York Giants @ Los Angeles Rams

The Giants are not scoring enough points. Although the Rams lost last week, they don’t seem to have any problem in the point scoring department. This is going to be another sore one for Giants fans.

Giants 13 Rams 34

New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs

Cam Newton against Patrick Mahomes is another mouth watering quarterback face off. Both teams looked strong last week and there is bound to be lots of points racked up in this game. I think Mahomes has the better team overall and will put a small dent in the Patriots play off hopes.

Patriots 30 Chiefs 31

Buffalo Bills @ Las Vegas Raiders

The Bills are chasing 4-0 but face a tough task against the Raiders. Josh Allen looks like he is going to have a good season and could push the Bills on to great things. You just can’t write off this Raiders team though. Another tight game in store here.

Bills 32 Raiders 35

Philadelphia Eagles @ San Francisco 49ers

The Eagles are surprisingly still looking for their first win this season. Carson Wentz just isn’t doing the business and this is a huge problem for the Eagles. The 49ers picked up things last week with an impressive win albeit against a poor Giants team. I can see them getting the win here again.

Eagles 20 49ers 31

Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers

The Packers have been pretty solid so far building up a 3-0 record for the season. The Falcons on the other hand have suffered a 0-3. So this can only go one way right? Well it depends. If the Falcons decide not to collapse in the 4th quarter like previous weeks, they can make this interesting.

Falcons 26 Packers 30

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tennessee Titans

Re-scheduled due to Covid-19 outbreak.
