NFL 2021 Divisional Round Predictions

And now we have eight! Last weeks excellent playoff games are still fresh in the memory but we don’t have time to hang about as we move into the Divisional round. The games this week are harder to predict as you would expect but here goes anyway.

Here are my NFL 2021 Divisional Round predictions:

Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers

We kick off on Saturday with the Rams going to the Packers. The Rams provided a bit of a surprise last week as they overcame the Seahawks 30-20. Aaron Rodgers and his teammates do have the home field advantage here and were more impressive than their opponents through out the regular season. But this is crunch time and the Rams defense is ready to put up another good fight against a fine offense. It’s going to be tight but the Packers should edge it late on.

Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills

Lamar Jackson v Josh Allen will be the pre-match headlines here but we all know both of these units are much more than their star quarterbacks. Can the Bills stop Jackson’s running game? can the Ravens get to Allen? Whichever defense gets on top will be the difference. I think the Bills will do it.

Ravens 24 Bills 27

Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs

Sundays first game has the Browns visiting the Chiefs. For many this is the most straight forward to pick with everyone having the Chiefs to win this with ease. The Chiefs may well come out on top but I think the Browns will be riding high on confidence and can push them all the way. At the end of the day though, Mahomes and his teammates will just have too much firepower.

Browns 31 Chiefs 38

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints

Battle of the legendary quarterbacks here as the Buccaneers Tom Brady squares off against the Saints Drew Brees. Which one will be heading for another Championship game? Well if the previous two meetings are anything to go by then it will be New Orleans. But Tampa have improved in recent weeks and they seem to be clicking together at the right time. Another tough one to call but the Saints should just make it through.

Buccaneers 27 Saints 30
