As we go into Week 10, the Steelers remain the only team unbeaten while the Jets are the only side yet to mark up a win. Week 10 throws up a few interesting ties but as a whole probably the toughest bunch of games so far this year.
Here are my NFL 2020 Week Ten Predictions:
Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans
The top two teams in AFC South clash on Thursday night. More consistency has been shown by the Titans so far this year but the Colts are a hard team to predict. It will be close I am sure but I fancy the Titans to do the job.
Colts 20 Titans 23
Houston Texans @ Cleveland Browns
The Browns had a much welcomed bye week in week 9, allowing some of their starts to shrug off niggling injuries. The Texans just managed to see off the Jags last week but they will have to step up there game here to stop Mayfield in his tracks.
Texans 26 Browns 31
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Green Bay Packers
The Jaguars have come close in some games but are now on a 7 game run without a win. This Packers team are beatable but they are a strong force at home and are just too strong for the Jags to cause an upset.
Jaguars 17 Packers 31
Washington Football Team @ Detroit Lions
Both of these teams had disappointing defeats last week against other struggling sides. That makes this one tough to call but I think the Lions have more potential to pick themselves up this week.
Washington 21 Lions 24
Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
These two teams had a close game earlier in the season and I can see something similar happening again. Last week the Eagles were resting up with a bye while the Giants picked up their second win of the season. I just have a feeling the Giants can cause a bit of an upset this week.
Eagles 17 Giants 24
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers
The Buccaneers and Tom Brady in particular had a disaster last week, going down 38-3 to the Saints. Meanwhile the Panthers pushed the Chiefs all the way in a 33-31 defeat. They are on a 4 game losing streak though and there is no way Brady and co can be that bad again this week.
Buccaneers 34 Panthers 20
Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders can pick up a third win in a row here as they welcome the Broncos. If they can stop Drew Lock then they can find the win with their running game.
Broncos 20 Raiders 27
Los Angeles Chargers @ Miami Dolphins
This years surprise package the Dolphins continued their great form with a win over the Cardinals last week. That made it four wins on the bounce. The defense has been the real star of the show despite Tua Tagovailoa impressing as well. If this continues then I can’t see the Chargers having much success after losing their last two.
Chargers 27 Dolphins 30
Buffalo Bills @ Arizona Cardinals
The Bills still sit top of AFC East after an impressive win over the Seahawks last week. The Cardinals suffered a surprise loss to the improving Dolphins and will rely on Kyler Murray to pull them through this tough one.
Bills 31 Cardinals 26
Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams
The Rams would have enjoyed their bye week watching the Seahawks shaky defense struggle against the Bills. Factor in that the LA have a good record against Seattle and this one could be very tight.
Seahawks 28 Rams 26
San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints
You have to feel for the 49ers who went from an amazing season last year to an injury plagued disaster this year. The Saints meanwhile destroyed the Buccaneers last week to make it five wins in a row.You can never write of this 49ers team completely but this one will be too tough for their depleted squad.
49ers 20 Saints 34
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Bengals have shown some signs of improvement in recent weeks with Joe Burrow looking the real deal at quarterback. Unfortunately for him, the Steelers average 4 sacks per game this year. And with Ben Roethlisberger throwing as well as ever, this one is only going one way.
Bengals 17 Steelers 35
Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots
Lamar Jackson hammered this Patriots team last year and that’s when the Patriots were still good. Bill Belichick’s team are now 3-5 for this season while their opponents are 6-2 and still one of the seasons favourites to go all the way.
Ravens 41 Patriots 21
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears
This is one of these games where if I was calling it 4 weeks ago then it would be the Bears all the way. Things have changed since then however as the Bears try to stop a three game losing streak. The Vikings meanwhile have won their last two and are all of a sudden back in play off contention.
