Wyoming 2023 NFL Draft Scouting Reports

Eric Abojei, G

Strengths: Massive small-area blocker with good strength. Squares into opponents and gets movement run blocking. Quickly sets up in pass protection, immediately gets his hands up, and makes good use of angles. Keeps his head on a swivel and always looks for someone to hit.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t sink his butt at the line of scrimmage and gets upright in his stance. Lacks footwork in space and is ineffective on the second level. Cannot redirect to defenders in motion and gets beaten by quick inside moves. Limited upside.

Overall: Abojei is a large, strong power-gap guard who must improve his pad level to have any chance at the next level.

Titus Swen, RB

Strengths: Productive college ball carrier who showed consistent progress over the past three years. Patient, waits for blocks to develop, and has a burst through the hole. Immediately gets to top speed and beats defenders into the open field. Displays a stutter step, squeezes through the running lanes, and effectively uses blocks.

Weaknesses: Possesses an upright running style, which makes him easy to tackle. Gathers when he tries to cut back against the grain and cannot string multiple moves together over the course of a single run.

Overall: Swen is a nice-sized ball carrier with a lot of production over the past two years, but he runs with an upright style. He must run behind his pads and with better lean to have an opportunity at the next level.
