Gisele Bündchen makes public display of support for Tom Brady amid breakup rumors.
Gisele Bündchen is making it known that, despite her absence, she is still supporting her man in NFL week 1.
On Sunday night the supermodel tweeted a message to Brady ahead of the Buccaneers taking on the Dalla Cowboys for the first Sunday Night Football game of the week.
“Let’s go @TomBrady! Let’s go Bucs !” she wrote.
Normally, a tweet like this wouldn’t be newsworthy. But this isn’t a normal season for Brady.
Ahead of this season (which wasn’t even supposed to happen since he retired, but I digress) rumors swirled that there was trouble in paradise between Brady and Bündchen, due in part to him returning to football.
Several reports claim that Bündchen didn’t want him to go back to the sport and it’s caused a lot of tension.

“Gisele isn’t back with Tom,” a source told Page Six after it was rumored she’d left the state, and Brady. “She flew back to Florida to be with her kids but hasn’t been to their home in Tampa. Tom is still hoping they can reconcile. Gisele has told him she’s leaving him before, and they always made up when she cooled down.”
On September 1 the same source reported that the couple had gotten into an “epic fight” about this season.
“Tom and Gisele are in a fight right now,” Page Six reported at the time.
These reports, timed with an 11-day absence from training camp forced the media to address the absence of Brady upon his return.
“It’s all personal … everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with. We all have really unique challenges to our life. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s–t going on,” he told reporters.
Even worse, she wasn’t there for the game, day one.
“It feels very different this year than last year,” a source told People. “She was excited to be here, we saw her around. I’m not saying she can’t possibly come, but nothing is in place for her to be here for the first regular season game and that seems weird.”
