FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys continued to practice at The Star in Frisco. Although the game prep for their second preseason game will start on Thursday, the team continues to show how game-ready they are for the regular season.
Cowboys Practice Report From Frisco: CeeDee Lamb Impresses
Wide receiver David Durden was carted off the field during practice. According to the Dallas Morning News, Durden will get an MRI on Thursday. The report also says that there is concern that it could be an ACL injury.
Star of the Show
The “Star of the Show” for Wednesday’s practice was wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. He was on display again today and showed what a threat he could be for the offense in the backfield, even with double coverage on him. Lamb looks fast and fresh with his legs.
Today’s “Mojo Moment” was an overtime scenario with the Cowboys’ offense starting on the opposing 25-yard line. The offense didn’t get the ball into the end zone.
The highlights of the drive were Trevon Diggs breaking up a pass from Michael Gallup, Rico Dowdle getting a first down on a deep run downfield, and Malik Hooker breaking up a pass on a deep ball intended for Lamb.
The backups didn’t score on their mojo moment, either.
The highlights of their drive were a deep ball thrown by Cooper Rush that was caught by Simi Fehoko and another clutch third-down pass that Durden caught. But the drive ended with an interception by Eric Scott Jr.
