Football is back! Following a full slate of Sunday games, what can we expect on Sunday Night Football? To kick off this year’s run of the biggest show on television, there will be star power and big plays aplenty.
Game: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys
Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys kick off this season of Sunday Night Football in Arlington, Texas. In the wake of Sunday morning’s news that this season could really be Tom Brady’s last, Brady’s Bucs will look to start the season strong with a win over America’s Team.
Brady will rely heavily on perennial Pro Bowler Mike Evans with Chris Godwin and Russell Gage nursing injuries. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will likewise lean on his own star wideout, CeeDee Lamb, amidst Dallas’ depleted pass-catching corps. Both teams hope this is a preview of one of this season’s NFC playoff matchups, but before we can even think about January football, they’ll want to start off the season with a win.
