The top of the 2023 NFL Draft board is starting to take shape, but what about after pick No. 1?
Anthony Richardson has been linked to several teams in the top 10 after wowing the masses at the NFL Draft combine, but where is he most likely to go in next Thursday’s first round of the NFL Draft?
Using the betting markets, we can get a sense of where bettors are expecting Richardson to land as we try to sift through the latest reports and the order in which the first four quarterbacks can go.

Richardson’s over/under is 4.5 which is heavily shaded towards the OVER at -330, but this market above is focusing on which team will select the Florida quarterback.
The prevailing sentiment is that the Tennessee Titans want to take its quarterback of the future and move up to get inside the top four to do that, likely swapping with the Cardinals at No. 3 in the process.
Currently, the Titans are the favorite in this market despite picking at No. 11, so there is an expectation that the team will move up or Richardson can slide on draft night. As is most of the board after No. 1, it’s very up in the air at the moment.
A safer landing spot is at No. 4, where the Colts are very likely to take a quarterback and could be interested with Richardson, who fits the mold of General Manager Chris Ballad’s prototypical quarterback prospect due to his athletic traits. Indianapolis is the second choice in this market at +350, followed by the Raiders at +400, who are picking No. 7.
The last team that is in shouting distance of the top is the Seattle Seahawks at +600, which I think is the most worthwhile bet at the moment. Seattle is picking No. 5 and make a ton of sense to select Richardson, given that he is still a raw prospect and can develop behind Geno Smith, who just signed a contract extension. However, the Seahawks have been linked to the QB prospects and could have one learn behind the veteran Smith after outperforming expectations in 2022 and take advantage of this opportunity to pick inside the top five with the Broncos first round pick.
