The first round of the 2023 NFL Draft is in the books, with Rounds 2 and 3 set to take place on Friday, Apr. 28. What time does the third round of the draft begin?
The first round of the 2023 NFL Draft has concluded, and it may go down as the most eventful in quite some time. While there was the given of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young being selected first-overall by the Carolina Panthers, the chaos began immediately afterwards with shocking picks. From the Houston Texans selecting Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud at No. 2 and then trading up to No. 3 to select Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., to the Detroit Lions using their first round picks on running back Jahmyr Gibbs and Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell.
With the first 31 picks finalized, the draft only continues with the second and third rounds on Friday, Apr. 28. There are plenty of first round talents who have fallen into the second night, including Kentucky quarterback Will Levis and Penn State cornerback Joey Porter. Jr.

Well, the second night of the NFL Draft will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET. There are set to be 32 picks in the second round, but with a much shorter amount of time on the clock for teams to make their picks, as opposed to the 10-minute clock for the first-round.
Taking that into consideration, the third round could start between 8:30 p.m. ET-9:00 p.m. ET.
