Updated Bears draft picks for 2023, 2024 and 2025

The Chicago Bears have made a move to give up their first round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers for multiple draft picks.

The move that the Bears have made — giving up their No. 1 overall draft pick to the Panthers — changes what Chicago’s draft order looks like.

Thanks to the trade, Chicago has acquired a 2023 first-round and a second-round pick. Chicago also received a 2024 first-round and a 2025 second-round pick to move up eight spots, from the ninth pick to the first pick of the draft. The Bears also were able to acquire wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Panthers.

Chicago Bears NFL Draft order

Chicago’s draft order has been updated:

2023 NFL Draft:

Round 1: 9th (from Panthers)

Round 2: 53rd (from Ravens)

Round 2: 61st (from 49ers through Panthers)

Round 3: 64th

Round 4: 103rd

Round 4: 133rd (from Eagles)

Round 5: 136th

Round 5: 148th (from Patriots through Ravens)

Round 7: 218th

Round 7: 258th (supplemental selection)

2024 NFL Draft:

First Round Pick (from Panthers)

2025 NFL Draft:

Second Round pick (from Panthers)

General manager Ryan Poles has plenty to be proud of, as he put Chicago in a position to not only select a player in the top-10 of this year’s NFL Draft, but perhaps receive another high selection in the 2024 showcase. D.J. Moore is also a Pro Bowl-caliber player the team can build its wide receiver corps around.

In the end, this is a vote of confidence for Justin Fields, Chicago’s currently quarterback. Fields was mentioned in trade rumors earlier this offseason, but in the end will stay with the Bears as a promising young passer who now has a clear No. 1 wide receiver to grow with.
