The 2023 dynasty fantasy football season is in full swing as players are less than a month away from hearing their names called during the NFL draft. With an intriguing free agency period shaking up the position, there is much for fantasy football managers to consider this year. Before the chaos takes off, here are the latest 2023 dynasty quarterback rankings

Who Are the Best Quarterbacks To Draft in Dynasty?
When you’re building out your quarterback room, chase upside and rushing production. If you can find out before a quarterback cements their ranking, even better. It’s one of the reasons I’m going after Justin Fields extremely aggressively this offseason, as I don’t understand why people instantly want the Bears to move off of him.
In my opinion, Fields needs to be valued in the same tier as Justin Herbert, which is exactly where I have him (QB6). I understand he only topped 200 yards twice last year, but when you run for over 1,100 yards and have eight touchdowns, I want you on my fantasy team. Especially when we understand the amount of both draft capital and salary cap space the Bears will have to put pieces around Fields. There’s no reason not to believe he can’t repeat his QB5 performance in 2023 or, at a minimum, be a high-upside, reliable QB1.
In a Superflex draft, I would also be willing to take Trevor Lawrence at the back end of the first round or early second. The maturation we saw last year was evident. After not having a representative rookie year, given the turmoil in Jacksonville, Lawrence was sensational last year under Doug Pederson.
His completion percentage jumped nearly 7%, and his yards per attempt went from 5.2 all the way up to 7.3, while more than doubling his touchdown rate to 4.3%. Throw in the fact Lawrence had five rushing touchdowns to go along with over 4,100 passing yards, and his QB8 finish might very well be his floor for the foreseeable future.
I’m also taking the value on Kenny Pickett, both in drafts and in trades. It feels like Pickett is the easy target of the fantasy community, given the QB class of last year, and once again, we’re not giving rookie quarterbacks the necessary time to develop before making overarching judgments about their trajectory.

Were there mixed results? Absolutely. Pickett averaged right at 185 yards per game and had more interceptions (9) than touchdowns (7). But towards the back half of the year, even if the numbers didn’t necessarily show it, Pickett was playing much better football. It appeared that the game was beginning to slow down for him.
Having gone through a full season and now getting to go through an entire offseason program with the team, I think Pickett will have a much better sophomore season and could be in the upper QB2 range in 2023.
Personally, if I had someone like Kirk Cousins, for example, I would actually be trying to flip him for Pickett, plus some additional draft compensation. The Steelers are only going to get better, and given how this franchise has traditionally given players time to develop, investing in Pickett now might be the right time to do so, as I see him rising in dynasty quarterback rankings.
