Tom Brady apologizes for breaking tablet in hilarious postgame tweet

Tom Brady let his emotions get the best of him, taking his frustrations out on a tablet, but he made sure to apologize on Twitter after the game.

The Buccaneers‘ offense had another frustrating day playing the Saints on Sunday but Tom Brady and company ended up leaning on their defense and coming away with a 20-10 victory.

Before a 17-point fourth quarter, Brady was limited to just one field goal drive as the New Orleans defense seemed to get under his skin.

It got so intense that the quarterback chucked a Microsoft tablet at the bench. It was a near mirror to his tablet-throwing antics against the Saints in 2021.

Well, things turned around and Brady got to celebrate while also acknowledging that his crimes against tablet-kind are going to put him in meme jail.

Tom Brady apologized for breaking another tablet

“Great win to get to 2-0. Shout out to the D coming up. The ugly ones count too. And sorry for breaking that tablet, I think that’s going to be another Twitter meme or something like that,” Brady said. “Flying home to Tampa, getting ready for next week. Green Bay coming to town, let’s go.”

With the game locked at three apiece, Brady was able to engineer two scoring drives in the fourth quarter, taking advantage of two Jameis Winston interceptions. The Bucs quarterback hit Breshad Perriman on a 28-yard touchdown pass then set up a 47-yard Ryan Succop Field goal to put Tampa Bay up by 10. Mike Edwards put the game away by returning yet another interception 68 yards for a score.

The Bucs offense has scored just two touchdowns in two games, so it’s easy to see why Brady could get so frustrated in the moment. We’ll see if he has anything to apologize for next week with the Packers on tap.
