Odell Beckham Jr. sounded off about the NFL’s opening game Thursday night
Odell Beckham Jr., one of the NFL’s biggest stars to date, watched from the sidelines Thursday night as the AFC Championship runner-up Buffalo Bills went into So-Fi Stadium and dominated the defending Super Bowl champion LA Rams in a 31-10 thrashing.
Beckham Jr. has a torn ACL and his prognosis is currently unknown, according to multiple sources including The Sporting News. The injury didn’t stop Beckham Jr. from throwing apparent shade at his now former team, hinting that he may want to relocate to Orchard Park, New York if the stars align. But again, it’s just Twitter.
However, fans and pundits alike were all over it upon the tweet being released just shortly before 11 p.m. ET.
“Seeesh..Bills mafia?????,” Beckham Jr. wrote in a tweet.
While it is unclear what the future may hold for the wideout from LSU, it’s safe to assume that the long-time veteran wants a shot at another ring before his eventual retirement from the sport of football altogether.
Odell Beckham Jr. previously played for the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants
Beckham Jr. has had a lengthy NFL career that spans almost a decade. After being drafted by the New York Giants in 2014, Beckham Jr. quickly made a name for himself as one of the best receivers in the league, as in four of his first five years, he posted four 1,000-plus yard seasons before signing with the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
Beckham Jr. will look to make a return to an NFL team at some point this season, whether it may be for the Rams or someone else. Regardless, he still continues to be one of the most talked about players in football, on or off the field.
