NFL 2021 early predictions

Which NFL teams look strongest for pre-season 2021?

With the 2021 NFL season right around the corner now, everybody is anxious to see what team is able to emerge as the strongest in the league. There are tons of good options to choose form with the majority of teams looking to gear up for a playoff push. Here we are going to go over a few of the best options right now and see why they could be so dangerous.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers proved that they were one of the strongest teams in the league last year when they knocked off four very talented teams in order to win the Super Bowl. They were also able to retain all 22 starters from that season during the free agency period, something that is rarely done anymore in all major sports. Led by Tom Brady and an elite offense, it is hard to imagine this team not asserting their dominance as one of the best in the league. Also, their defense was supposed to be the weakest part of their roster and yet came up huge in almost every single postseason game. Devin White is positioning himself to be listed as one of the best linebackers in the game as well!

The Los Angeles Rams

The Rams had a mediocre season last year and an early playoff exit but that doesn’t take away from the talent that they have on their roster. For one, they have the reigning Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald on their defensive line partnered up with arguably the best cornerback in the game with Jalen Ramsey roaming the secondary. Quarterback seemed to be an issue with Jared Goff, so the team flipped him over to the Detroit Lions in exchange for the veteran Mathew Stafford. The move catapults them into Super Bowl contention now as they seriously don’t have any weaknesses across their roster outside of some minor concerns regarding Stafford.

Kansas City Chiefs

Obviously, this group is going to be one of the most dangerous in the league. In the past three seasons, they have made lost in the AFC Championship game, won the Super Bowl, then lost the Super Bowl. Behind Patrick Mahomes and this ridiculously stacked offense, there is no telling how this team could do once again next season. Both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are returning to the roster while Clyde Edwards Helaire should be getting a larger role in the offense after a strong rookie season. The franchise also bolstered their offensive line to make getting to Mahomes nearly impossible and we all know how scary he is with time to throw the football. Not to mention the fact that their defense is young and talented across the board, though there are concerns regarding Frank Clark and some off the field issues during the offseason.

I would say that these three teams are the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the NFL. A couple of teams that will be strong as well are the Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers. Although I just don’t see them in the same tier as these teams heading into the regular season.

I think the Indianapolis Colts are still going to be a top contender for the regular season in the NFL
