“I’m Not Going To Talk About My Personal Life”

As verbose perennial Pro Bowl tight end and two-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce is, there are moments where the Kansas City Chiefs star chooses to become tight-lipped and sidestep from questions.

Such was the case Wednesday with the NFL Network, which comes in the wake of “FriendshipBraceletGate” involving he and country/pop star Taylor Swift. The question also came on a day Kelce unveiled a new, much-discussed facial look.

Travis Kelce Surprisingly Quiet About Personal Life

Swift and Kelce’s name became attached via the Chiefs star’s admission of trying to shoot his shot at Swift during one of her recent concerts held at Arrowhead Stadium.

During the July 26 edition of his podcast “New Heights” alongside his brother (Philadelphia Eagles center and Super Bowl champ Jason Kelce), the Super Bowl 57 champ shared how he was “a little butthurt” that he didn’t get a chance to hand her one of the friendship bracelets he made specifically for her…which had his number on it.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.

So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said to his older brother.”

Speaking with the network’s Andrew Siciliano at Chiefs camp, the veteran NFL reporter asked Kelce about Swift…prompting this response from the always loquacious tight end.

“I said what I said, and I meant what I said when I said. And you know what…it is what it is. I’m not going to talk about my personal life. I know what you writers want to hear and I’m not going to give you anything. And that’s going to wrap it up here,” Kelce responded.

Siciliano asked, “Has she reached out?”

Kelce reacted with, “And that’s going to wrap it here on the NFL Network.”

Kelce additionally stated how he isn’t likely going to be at her final show held at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, saying, “I’ve got a football season to worry about.”

But he included how whoever attends her show will have a blast.

Kelce’s Surprising New Look

Also noticeable from his interview with Siciliano: No beard, but a mustache left behind.

The newly half-shaven Kelce sported his look while doing his interview with the NFL Network crew. He additionally gave himself a new name with the look.

“They call me…El Travedor!” Kelce said in a deep, thick accent.

Kelce then explained the meaning behind the look.

“It’s just having fun at camp, trying to switch up the look. You get sick of looking at yourself with all this fur on your face,” Kelce said.

And was there an inspiration behind the look?

“Shout out to Andy Reid baby. It’s ‘stache time baby, it’s the power of the ‘stache,” Kelce said.
