The 2023 NFL Draft is here and it’s setting up to be one of the most chaotic first rounds in NFL history!
While Bryce Young has emerged as the overwhelming favorite to be the No. 1 pick, there is far from a consensus on who will go where and when, starting at No. 2 with the Houston Texans holding the keys to the draft.
The Houston Texans have been rumored to do anything from trading the pick all together to taking a quarterback like Will Levis or taking a pass rusher like Will Anderson or Tyree Wilson.

This has been one of the most hotly debated topics during draft season: What will the Houston Texans do at No. 2? We have a full betting preview here.
Oddsmakers have had players cycle as the favorite in this market with Levis being the odds on favorite, then leap frogged by Wilson during the week, but now it’s the Alabama pass rusher Anderson that is the slight favorite to go No. 2.
As well, C.J. Stroud, who once was the massive favorite to go No. 1, looms as a potential target to go second.
This will determine the rest of the draft order, but if the Texans do stay put, it appears that the team will select a defensive player, not the quarterback of the future. If that’s the case, I’ll take the late mover to favorite in Anderson to go second.

Arizona has been rumored to want out of the No. 3 pick given that they aren’t in need of a quarterback. If they stay put, the team has been linked to pass rushers and offensive linemen, and the emerging candidate is Paris Johnson from Ohio State.
