What time is the NFL London game? With International Series games all starting at different times, football fans are often left wondering when they need to be glued to their couches to watch their favorite teams. When does this NFL London game start, and what does the rest of this week’s schedule look like?
What Time Is the Giants vs. Packers Game Today?
Date: Sunday, October 09, 2022
Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
It is another early start for the NFL London game as the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers travel to the United Kingdom in Week 5. The game will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET.
This will be the first time the Packers experience a trip to London in the 15 years that the NFL has been playing international games. Additionally, this will be the first time the two teams playing in London both have winning records. The Giants and Packers both currently sit at 3-1, but they are each trending in different directions.
MORE: NFL Week 5 Coverage Map
The Packers have won their last three, including an impressive win over their NFC rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the Giants lost their first game of the season last week against the Dallas Cowboys. Not only did they get dominated on both sides of the ball, but their starting QB Daniel Jones also suffered an ankle injury.
Luckily for New York, RB Saquon Barkley has seemingly returned to form and is currently leading the NFL in rushing yards. Unfortunately, the Packers have one of the best run defenses in the league.
With both teams struggling to score and the Giants dealing with key injuries, London fans might want to temper their expectations for this one. It is highly unlikely we get to see another exciting 28-25 content like we did last week between the Vikings and Saints.
