Unlike the Super Bowl, the NFL Pro Bowl does not change locations every year. For a game that has changed formats so many times throughout its history, at least the locations have remained somewhat stable. Here is a list of all the Pro Bowl locations by year.
Pro Bowl Locations by Year
NFL All-Star Games (1938-1942)
Long before the AFL and NFL merger, the Pro Bowl was known as the NFL All-Star Games. Between 1939 and 1942, the NFL experimented with all-star games by pitting the league’s champion against a team of all-stars.
- 1938: Wrigley Field, Los Angeles
- 1939: Gilmore Stadium, Los Angeles
- 1940: Gilmore Stadium, Los Angeles
- 1942 (January): Polo Grounds, New York
- 1942 (December): Shibe Park, Philadelphia
NFL Pro Bowls
Due to a lack of interest, the Pro Bowl went on a brief hiatus after the 1942 season. Upon its return in 1950, it was decided that the game would feature all-star teams from each of the league’s two conferences rather than the league champion versus all-star format that had been used previously.

From 1950 to 1969, that would mean it would be East vs. West. Then, after the AFL and NFL merger, it became AFC vs. NFC. That format remained until 2013-2015, when the NFL tested Pro Bowls with no conference designations for the teams. The teams were instead decided by some of the biggest names in the sport, like Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, and others.

- 1980-2009: Aloha Stadium, Honolulu
- 2010: Sun Life Stadium, Miami Gardens
- 2011-2014: Aloha Stadium, Honolulu
- 2015: University of Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix
- 2016: Aloha Stadium, Honolulu
- 2017-2020: Camping World Stadium, Orlando
- 2022-2023: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas
- 2024: Camping World Stadium, Orlando
