With the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl and Reeses’ Senior Bowl taking place this week, the future stars of the NFL are firmly in the spotlight as nearly every fan’s attention turns to the NFL Draft.
It truly is mock draft season. With the Pro Football Network Mock Draft Simulator (MDS), you can be the general manager for your favorite team, every team, or even let the sim roll and discover the plethora of potential scenarios for the NFL’s annual selection event. That’s exactly what we did for this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Justin Fields’ future with the Chicago Bears is a contentious issue, with some believing the franchise will turn the page on the former Ohio State Buckeye and begin anew this spring.
In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, that future looks like a former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback with insane creative ability and arm talent in the guise of USC Trojans standout Caleb Williams.
2) Washington Commanders: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
What’s better than having one North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback on your roster? According to the MDS, having two.
The Washington Commanders swoop into Chapel Hill to snag Drake Maye to compete with Sam Howell for the starting quarterback role in 2024. The PFN QB1 of the class — albeit by a slim margin — Maye has the size and arm talent to be an immediate NFL force.
3) New England Patriots: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Do the New England Patriots have a quarterback problem right now? Yes. Has the franchise had a wide receiver problem for even longer? Absolutely.

While the QB questions will roll into the spring and summer, Marvin Harrison Jr. has proven he can elevate a team above suboptimal QB play. If they built a WR in a lab, there’s a good chance he’d look just like Harrison.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
A popular landing spot for a certain Ohio State WR who is already off the board in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals turn to another pressing need with the fourth pick.
The Cards need an explosive pass-rush presence with an exciting toolbox and top-tier athleticism. Thankfully, that’s exactly what Alabama’s Dallas Turner brings to the desert with this selection.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Jim Harbaugh lands back in the NFL from the national championship-winning Michigan Wolverines and immediately turns his attention to what earned his recent college football success. No, not Sherrone Moore, but elite-level offensive line play.
Joe Alt’s combination of physical gifts, technical prowess, and football IQ gives Justin Herbert a chance to deliver on his talent.
6) New York Giants: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
There’s the potential for a record-breaking offensive tackle class in April, and Penn State product Olumuyiwa Fashanu sits at the top of it.
The MDS pulls the trigger on the 6’6″, 321-pound mammoth for the New York Giants, providing the team with a reliable bookend opposite Andrew Thomas. Fashanu has all the attributes you look for in a top-tier tackle prospect in the draft.
7) Tennessee Titans: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Many consider OT the most pressing need for the Tennessee Titans heading into April, but in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the top two are already off the board. Instead, the MDS gives new head coach Brian Callahan and QB Will Levis an exciting wide receiver to work with.
Rome Odunze enters the NFL with consecutive 1,000+ yard seasons and exceptional ball skills.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
With a glaring need at quarterback, not to mention some other positional requirements, the MDS throws a curveball by adding an elite tight end to a team that already has an aspiring one.
Run 12 personnel, play him out wide as a conventional big-bodied WR, but whatever you do, just marvel at what Brock Bowers brings to the NFL with his eye-popping array of devastating physical gifts.
9) Chicago Bears: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
After landing their franchise QB with the first pick of this mock draft, the MDS switches gears to the Bears’ defensive needs.

EDGE might be considered a priority, but cornerback is a position that also deserves attention. Kool-Aid McKinstry is as talented as his name is awesome. A technician at the position with top-tier ball skills, he’s an upgrade in Chicago.
10) New York Jets: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
The New York Jets must find a way to bring their offense up to the standard set by their defense. That could involve OL upgrades or, as in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, that could be with the addition of an explosive, competitive, reliable target at the WR position.
Malik Nabers ticks all those boxes, it’s almost like the description was written precisely for the LSU wide receiver.
11) Minnesota Vikings: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
There’s a growing feeling that the Minnesota Vikings will move in a different direction at quarterback, with uncertainty about Kirk Cousins’ long-term future.
As a result, you’d expect a Jayden Daniels selection at this spot or even a trade-up to acquire Maye or Williams. Yet, the MDS addresses the need for secondary reinforcements with Alabama standout CB Terrion Arnold.
12) Denver Broncos: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
In his recent 2024 NFL Mock Draft for PFN, Adam Caplan revealed that one “high-level NFL scouting source” believes Iowa’s Cooper DeJean is “one of the top five players available” in this class. If that’s true, the Denver Broncos get a steal from the MDS.
DeJean can form an elite CB duo with Patrick Surtain II while also boasting positional versatility on the back end.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The Las Vegas Raiders have made some questionable draft decisions recently, including at the CB position. Perhaps moving forward, they should employ the services of the MDS when they’re on the clock because Nate Wiggins is a slam-dunk pick here.
A genuine speedster, the Clemson cornerback also boasts the physicality that once defined being a Raider.
14) New Orleans Saints: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
When writing mock drafts, pairing the New Orleans Saints with one of the top offensive line talents available in the 2024 NFL Draft is tempting.

The MDS, however, isn’t a human flawed by vices such as temptation and bolsters a defense with some limitations by selecting a player who has very few flaws. Medicals aside, Laiatu Latu might be the best pass rusher in the class.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Taylor Swift and top-tier music. Katharine Hepburn and the Academy Awards. Iowa football and offensive disappointment. Some entities are just elite at producing in their specialty, and Penn State excels at putting devastating pass rushers into the NFL.
Their latest protégé, Chop Robinson, upgrades the Indianapolis Colts with his explosion, flexibility, and aggression.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
Pete Carroll’s departure as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks could bring about a full overhaul of the roster. However, the franchise shouldn’t veer too far from a tried-and-tested formula of creating a dominant defense.
The MDS understood the assignment here, helping the front with a versatile “defensive weapon” in Jer’Zhan Newton from the Illinois Fighting Illini.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
The Jacksonville Jaguars land on the clock here in a position to address several needs.
Maximizing Trevor Lawrence’s talents with a wide receiver like Keon Coleman is smart. The former Michigan State and Florida State WR has the size, speed, sensational body control, and super-sticky hands to be a dangerous downfield option.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Operation “Protect Joe Burrow” continues for another season, as the Cincinnati Bengals strike for another Alabama OT in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
One of the best available in a deep class, JC Latham not only upgrades Burrow’s protection but also brings a dangerous mauler mentality in the ground game.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
The Los Angeles Rams haven’t made a first-round pick since 2016, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them trade this one away before they get on the clock in April.

Trades are free for users of the MDS, but in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Rams strike for a pass rusher with power, athletic prowess, and a loaded toolbox in Florida State phenom Jared Verse.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Evaluating Kenny Pickett fully is a difficult assignment behind the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line, and this class has an embarrassment of riches for a team in their position.
Taliese Fuaga is the ninth-best player on the PFN Top 100 Prospect Watchlist, giving Mike Tomlin’s team a steal with the Oregon State Beaver. His run-game dominance adds further value.
21) Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
With some of the best interior offensive linemen — not to mention some high-caliber tackles — available, the MDS spurns what Miami Dolphins fans would consider their most substantial area of need.
Nevertheless, they shouldn’t be disappointed with the selection of Jeremiah Trotter Jr. The Clemson LB is a slippery pass-rush snake with serious strength.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Troy Fautanu, G, Washington
Jason Kelce is on the verge of retirement and living his best life, traveling the country shirtless in search of beer and tables to piledrive through.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles are left to reconstruct their offensive line for when he eventually departs. With the assumption that Cam Jurgens moves inside to center, Troy Fautanu would fill the guard role in the future, giving them a protector with pulverizing power.
23) Dallas Cowboys: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Trade: The Cowboys receive pick 23 in the 2024 NFL Draft; the Texans receive pick 24 and pick 87.
With Georgia OT Amarius Mims falling down the order, the MDS pulls off the only automated trade in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. It makes sense, too, with the Dallas Cowboys needing talent and youth on the offensive front.

Mims is a towering, vicious, powerful presence who brings excellence and reliability in both the run and pass game.
24) Houston Texans: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
The by-product of the trade above sees the Houston Texans add an additional pick in the 2024 NFL Draft while still snagging the player they would have likely taken if they’d held firm at No. 23 overall.
Brian Thomas Jr. is an underrated receiver in a deep class, boasting the size, speed, and ball-tracking skills to be an immediate favorite for quarterback sensation C.J. Stroud.
25) Green Bay Packers: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
With Jordan Love’s development and success in 2023, the selection of Jayden Daniels by the MDS can be filed as “surprising,” to say the least.
However, the Green Bay Packers have ensured continuity at the QB position in this manner before, and Daniels could go much higher than this. The Heisman Trophy winner is an explosive playmaker and underappreciated passer.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers woke up feeling dangerous on more than one occasion this season, and as such, may roll the dice on Baker Mayfield moving forward. That removes quarterback as the priority need, so attention can turn to long-term protection.
BYU tackle Kingsley Suamataia gives Tampa Bay a high-level run blocker with the athleticism and strength to dominate at the NFL level.
27) Arizona Cardinals: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
After missing out on Harrison with their first selection, Arizona finally dips into the deep well of talented pass catchers here in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
National attention is finally coming the way of Adonai Mitchell, whose route-running savviness and jaw-dropping agility leave defensive backs in a bind, and his red-zone prowess makes him a passer’s best friend.
28) Buffalo Bills: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
Despite investing capital in the CB position in recent seasons, the Buffalo Bills could (and should) still seek to build out their secondary in the draft.
Kamari Lassiter is an ascending prospect in this class who added technical excellence to a scouting report that was already alluring due to his length, athletic profile, and physical approach to the game.
29) Detroit Lions: Kalen King, CB, Penn State
Once considered the crown jewel of the Big Ten cornerback group, it feels like Kalen King‘s stock has soured a little through the process so far. Even so, that shouldn’t prevent Detroit Lions fans from getting excited by a DB who epitomizes everything the program stands for.
Competitiveness oozes out of the pores of the Penn State product. Dan Campbell will love him.
30) Baltimore Ravens: Leonard Taylor III, DT, Miami (FL)
Violence. Explosion. Danger. No, this isn’t the advertisement for the latest thriller from Hollywood. It’s a list of attributes that describe what Leonard Taylor III brings to the table as a prospect.
Landing with the Baltimore Ravens in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, there’s a comforting yet disturbing (for other teams) fit between the defensive identity of the team and their selection.
31) Kansas City Chiefs: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (FL)
The MDS doubles up on Miami Hurricanes near the back end of this mock draft, putting high-impact safety Kamren Kinchens on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Although wide receiver is a popular choice for the team in early mocks, the depth of that positional group means picking up talent later. There aren’t many safeties who bring the heat in all phases as Kinchens does.
32) San Francisco 49ers: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
Rounding out this MDS-driven 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the San Francisco 49ers — a presumed Super Bowl winner by this projected draft position — add further weapons for Brock Purdy to manipulate NFL defenses with.
Georgia’s Ladd McConkey is a highly talented WR whose ability to dominate out of the slot is only matched by his high-level off-field contributions.
