Dallas Cowboys Cuts Tracker 2023: Who Made the 53?

The 2023 Dallas Cowboys cuts tracker is here. The Cowboys must reduce the roster to 53 men by Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline. Who will take the second running back spot? Will the team keep four tight ends? Is linebacker depth any concern?

Dallas Cowboys Cuts: A First Look at 53-Man Roster

When a player has been cut, we will cross his name off the list with a strikethrough line.

By the roster deadline, the Cowboys must be down to 53 players.

Players who appear on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) or Non-football Injury (NFI) lists don’t count toward the final 53-man roster.

If a player remains on the PUP list, they will not be eligible to return until after the team’s fourth regular-season game. In the Cowboys’ case, they play the New England Patriots during Week 4 of the regular season.

Players who are placed on Injured Reserve (IR) before the final cut day can’t return during the season.

Teams are allowed to have 16 members on the practice squad. Ten of those players can’t have more than two accrued NFL seasons. The remaining six don’t have any restrictions.
