The New York Giants weren’t the only ones that had a heated sideline moment in the Week 4 Monday Night Football game versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Way before the much-discussed exchange between Giants head coach Brian Daboll and quarterback Daniel Jones, the visiting team dealt with their own tense moment involving an injured Jamal Adams in the contest.
Adams was seen getting combative with the independent concussion doctor who evaluated him after being ruled out, showing his emotions about wanting to play, especially after waiting nearly a year to be cleared to return to the field. Nearly 48 hours after disputing with the team doctor, Adams broke his silence on the matter via X.

“First and foremost, I want to apologize to the OG. You did everything right when you realized I was concussed, I apologize for any negative energy I brought your way,” Adams began.
The veteran safety, who had returned from both a quad and shoulder labrum tear that kept him out of football for nearly a year, then gave his own personal review after the play where he injured his head.
“Watching the replay, I am thankful for your patience knowing I wasn’t myself in that moment,” Adams said. “You’re a real one and you serve a great purpose that benefits the NFL and so many players.”
Adams concluded his letter with, “Prioritizing player’s health is essential. Much respect to you!”

Per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday, the league has placed Adams’ actions under review.
“NFL is considering discipline against Seahawks’ Jamal Adams for his actions toward the independent concussion doctor appointed by the NFL and NFLPA following his concussion sideline evaluation in Monday night’s game,” Schefter posted.
Without Adams, Seattle produced 11 sacks and snatched three takeaways — including a Devon Witherspoon 97-yard interception touchdown — in the 21-point win.
