Hill is coming off a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, 21-14, in Germany. Speaking to reporters after the game, Hill said, “It’s on me to make plays,” and specifically discussed a costly fumble he had late in the second quarter that the Chiefs returned for a touchdown.
“We have to be able to find ways to not shoot ourselves in the foot,” he added. “Because as you can see, we can play with any team in this league.”
Hill’s Proposal
There weren’t just fireworks between the couple when Hill got down on one knee, the wide receiver popped the question at the couple’s Fourth of July party in 2021.
Hill didn’t leave any stone unturned, going so far as to have an elaborate fireworks display scheduled to go off as soon as Vaccaro said “yes.”
The wide receiver totally shocked Vaccaro. Hill was in cahoots with the couple’s event planner behind the scenes, unbeknownst to his girl.
He was also sure to tell TMZ that he only has the best for his girl: “She’s definitely got the most diamonds, man. We made sure of that, you know what I’m saying?”
Vaccaro had a huge rock on her finger in the shape of a square diamond with a diamond halo and a pavé band. He wanted to make his Super Bowl ring look small in comparison.
Was Hill able to top both rings on the couple’s wedding day?
Is Vaccaro’s Brother in the NFL?
If you’re familiar with Vaccaro’s last name, but you thought you saw it on the gridiron, you are not wrong.
Hill’s wife is the sister of the talented NFL safety Kenny Vaccaro. The safety was a highly coveted draft pick in 2013, being selected 15th overall by the New Orleans Saints.
After sharing a bench with one of the best quarterbacks of all time, Drew Brees, he went on to be a Tennessee Titan in 2018 before retiring in 2021. What is the safety up to now? Celebrating his sister joining together in holy matrimony with Hill, for one.
Kenny also decided to move on from professional football to another sport: esports, to be specific. Although the former NFL player’s days look a lot different now, he’s thrilled to be the CEO of his own esports company, Gamers First.
He was a gamer first and a football player second, so the transition came naturally. Kenny also wanted more time at home so he could help coach his son’s football team, and esports gave him the flexibility to do that.
