Tracking Notable Line Movement for the Dolphins, Packers, Chiefs, and Others

We have 14 games for today’s Sunday slate, but there has been a lot of movement since the Week 8 NFL betting odds came out last week. But which spreads and totals have moved the most in the last week, and for what reason?

Week 8 NFL Odds: Tracking This Week’s Line Movement

Below are the games today with the most significant shift in NFL odds since the lines were posted last Sunday night.

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins Odds

The Dolphins opened as 9.5-point home favorites against the Patriots, but that line has now dropped to Miami -8 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jalen Ramsey should be making his debut for the Dolphins today, but elsewhere, they’re very banged up. Although they’re all expected to play, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Raheem Mostert are each dealing with injuries. Elsewhere for Miami, they’ll be missing at least two starting offensive linemen today, and S Jevon Holland is out with a concussion.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers Odds

The Packers were originally favored in this matchup, but after a big win on Monday Night Football against the 49ers, the Vikings quickly became short road favorites against their division rival. Currently, on DraftKings, 63% of the bets and 79% of the money is on the Vikings (-1) to cover today.

New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds

This is another game in which the favorite flipped, as the Colts were 1.5-point favorites on Sunday night but then became the underdog in this matchup later in the week.

Currently, the Saints are two-point favorites on DraftKings, representing a line movement of three points since Sunday night. However, 52% of the bets are on the Saints giving points, while 55% of the money is on the Colts.

Cleveland Browns vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds

The Seahawks are four-point favorites as the point spread for this one has increased by 1.5 points since Sunday night. The line quickly rose during the week when it became apparent that P.J. Walker would be starting in place of Deshaun Watson once again.

Although the Browns won last week, putting up 39 points against the Colts, Walker has been far from impressive filling in for Watson, even though Cleveland’s starting quarterback has continued to struggle throughout the season.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos Odds

There has been notable movement on both the point spread and total for this one. Weather has played a big factor here, as there is quite a bit of snow in Denver this morning. After the total reached as high as 47 points this week, it has now dropped to as low as 45.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook.

There has also been a noticeable shift in the point spread, as the Chiefs dropped from being favored by 8.5 points on Sunday night to now giving a touchdown.
