Teams That Need a Starter at QB

Entering the NFL season, there were two teams considered undecided on their 2022 starting QB. The Seattle Seahawks chose Geno Smith over Drew Lock. Lock had arrived in Seattle in the Russell Wilson trade.

The other undecided situation was in Pittsburgh. The Steelers had Mason Rudolph on the roster last year, but after Ben Roethlisberger retired, they were looking for a starter for the season.

Mitch Trubisky arrived in free agency, while Kenny Pickett was drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Ahead of the season, it was confirmed Trubiusky would be the Week 1 starter. However, he has since been replaced by Pickett.
