The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will face-off in the final regular season football game of the 2022 campaign on Sunday Night Football.
With this being the final regular season game, we need to take full advantage of it from a betting stand point.
That means I have some anytime touchdown bets for you to wager on. All we need for these bets to cash, is for the players we bet on to find the end zone. If they do, our wager is a winner.
Let’s dive into my favorite anytime touchdown bets for today’s slate.
Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Lions vs. Packers
- Christian Watson
- D’Andre Swift
- Aaron Rodgers
Christian Watson Anytime TD
Christian Watson has become Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target in the second half of the season after a slow start to his rookie campaign. He has seen at least five targets in eight straight games and he has racked up seven touchdowns during that stretch.
Now, he and the Packers get to take on a Lions defense that allows the second most yards per pass attempt at 7.5. I expect the Packers to be able to attack Detroit through the air with ease, and it should result in a big game for Watson.
D’Andre Swift Anytime TD
Jamaal Williams and D’Andre Swift have split time in the back field all season long, with Williams getting the majority of the touchdowns. But even with that being the case, why not take a shot on Swift whose odds provide a lot more value.
Swift has played a huge role in the passing game this season, averaging 3.2 receptions per game. If the Lions need to play from behind tonight, I think his chances to score will end up being better than Williams’, who gets the majority of his touches on the ground.
At his current odds, I think Swift provides a ton of betting value.
Aaron Rodgers Anytime TD
Aaron Rodgers can lead his team to the playoffs tonight. All he and the Packers need to do is win the game. You just know the back-to-back NFL MVP is going to do everything he can to win the game, and that includes potentially scoring with his legs.
He scored his first rushing touchdown of the season last week, but he has three in each of his last two seasons, so he’s due to get another tonight.
Whether it’s on a QB sneak or a rollout on the goalline, I’m willing to bet on an iconic Rodgers touchdown tonight.
