The Cincinnati Bengals refuse to give up on the season. Their offensive line and defensive woes continue to haunt them, but they still have a chance to make the playoffs in the AFC.
They recently made two roster moves on their practice squad. They elevated linebacker Brian Asamoah II to the active roster and signed linebacker Antwaun Powell-Ryland.
Coming off their bye week, the Bengals visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.

Asamoah is in his fourth year in the NFL. He joined the team’s practice squad in late October and played in the Week 9 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Powell-Ryland was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft and spent time on their practice squad.
These moves aren’t likely to move the needle that much for Cincinnati. But after trading veteran linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys at the NFL deadline, they need depth at the position.
The Bengals are still in the race in the AFC North, but they need to close out games better. New quarterback Joe Flacco has put up points, but after losing back-to-back games on fourth-quarter drives, it’s clear that the defense has to hold up its end of the bargain as well.
