NFL Week 18 Injury Tracker
Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (Saturday)
- Steelers: RB Najee Harris (knee); DT Cameron Heyward (groin); LB Elandon Roberts (pectoral); S Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee); S Trenton Thompson (neck)
- Ravens: WR Zay Flowers (calf); WR Tylan Wallace (knee); G Kevin Zeitler (knee/quad); EDGE Malik Harrison (groin); LB Patrick Queen (shoulder); LB Kyle Van Noy (calf); LB Del’Shawn Phillips (shoulder); CB Marlon Humphrey (calf); CB Brandon Stephens (ankle); CB Ronald Darby (illness); CB Arthur Maulet (hip); S Kyle Hamilton (knee); S Daryl Worley (shoulder/ankle); S Ar’Darius Washington (pectoral)
Steelers: Harris was limited on Tuesday and didn’t practice on Wednesday, but Pittsburgh is likely resting its top RB. He should be fine for Saturday’s game.
QB Kenny Pickett (ankle) is fully practicing ahead of the Steelers’ must-win Week 18, but head coach Mike Tomlin has already announced that Mason Rudolph will continue to start under center.
Ravens: Baltimore clinched the AFC’s No. 1 seed in Week 17, so the club has nothing to play for on Sunday. Tyler Huntley will start in place of Lamar Jackson under center, while the Ravens could hold out any of their key contributors with injury questions.
Flowers failed to practice for the second straight day on Wednesday. Zeitler, Harrison, Humphrey, Darby, Hamilton, and Worley also sat out of today’s session.
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (Saturday)
- Texans: FB Andrew Beck (calf); WR Noah Brown (back); WR Robert Woods (hip); OT Laremy Tunsil (groin); EDGE Will Anderson Jr. (ankle); EDGE Jonathan Greenard (ankle); DT Sheldon Rankins (ankle); DT Maliek Collins (hip)
- Colts: G Quenton Nelson (ankle); C Ryan Kelly (ankle); CB Chris Lammons (ankle)
Texans: Houston is facing a must-win game against the Colts in Week 18, but several of their key contributors are dealing with injury issues. Tunsil was the only player listed above to manage even a limited practice on Wednesday.

Colts: RB Zack Moss managed a full practice on Wednesday after missing Indy’s last two games with a forearm injury. He should return as Jonathan Taylor’s primary backup as the Colts fight for their playoff lives in Week 18.
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
- Browns: RB Kareem Hunt (groin); WR Amari Cooper (heel/rest); WR Elijah Moore (concussion); TE David Njoku (illness/knee/rest); G Joel Bitonio (oblique/knee); G Wyatt Teller (ankle); C Ethan Pocic (shoulder/stinger); EDGE Ogbo Okoronkwo (pectoral); LB Anthony Walker (knee); CB Greg Newsome (knee); CB Mike Ford (calf); S Duron Harmon (ankle); K Dustin Hopkins (left hamstring); P Corey Bojorquez (left quadricep)
- Bengals: WR Ja’Marr Chase (shoulder); WR Tee Higgins (hamstring); CB Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder); CB Jalen Davis (groin)
Browns: Having already secured the AFC’s No. 5 seed, Cleveland has nothing to play for in Week 18. The Browns have already announced that QB Jeff Driskel will start in place of Joe Flacco, and head coach Kevin Stefanski might be inclined to sit any player with a health concern.
Here’s who did not participate in Cleveland’s Wednesday practice: Hunt, Cooper, Njoku, Bitonio, Pocic, Walker, Newsome, Ford, and Hopkins.
On the plus side, Moore is practicing on a limited basis, although he still needs to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol. Okoronkwo, initially feared to have suffered a season-ending injury in Week 13, was also limited today.
Bengals: Higgins was Cincinnati’s only DNP on Wednesday. He’s not expected to play in the Bengals’ regular-season finale after injuring his hamstring in the club’s Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Chase is battling his own injury and did not suit up in Week 16. However, he returned last week and is only four catches away from 100, so he may have motivation to suit up against the Browns.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
- Vikings: WR Jalen Nailor (concussion); TE Nick Muse (knee); OT Brian O’Neill (ankle); G Ed Ingram (shoulder); DT Jaquelin Roy (ankle); CB Byron Murphy Jr. (knee); CB Mekhi Blackmon (shoulder); S Harrison Smith (shoulder); S Theo Jackson (toe)
- Lions: WR Jameson Williams (ankle); TE Sam LaPorta (ankle); TE Brock Wright (hip); OT Taylor Decker (groin); DT Alim McNeil (knee); LB James Houston (ankle)
Vikings: O’Neill missed two games with an ankle injury before returning in Week 17. However, he did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Murhpy was the only other Vikings starter to miss practice today.
Minnesota can still make the playoffs, but it needs to win while receiving a lot of help. As such, the team might sit contributors dealing with even a minor issue.
Lions: Williams, Wright, and Decker failed to practice on Wednesday, while the rest of Detroit’s injured players were limited. The Lions can only end up as the NFC’s No. 2 or No. 3 seed, so they might not have much reason to play many starters against the Vikings.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
- Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence (right shoulder/left finger); WR Christian Kirk (groin); WR Zay Jones (knee/hamstring)
- Titans: QB Will Levis (foot); WR Colton Dowell (knee); TE Kevin Rader (hip); OT Jaelyn Duncan (neck); G Daniel Brunskill (ankle); EDGE Caleb Murphy (shoulder); DT Tk McLendon (shoulder); CB Sean Murhpy-Bunting (hip); CB Eric Garror (illness/knee); CB Caleb Farley (back); DB Anthony Kendall (back)
Jaguars: Lawrence, sidelined in Week 17, returned for a limited practice on Wednesday. He participated in individual drills but did not appear to attempt a pass during the portion of practice open to the media. Jacksonville wins the AFC South with a victory over the Titans. C.J. Beathard will make another start if Lawrence can’t go.
Kirk has been designated to return from injured reserve (IR). The Jaguars’ WR2 has been out since Week 13. Kirk and Jones were limited today.
Titans: Levis returned from an ankle injury only to hurt his foot after attempting six passes in Week 17. On Wednesday, the rookie QB said his new ailment is “annoying, but not too serious.” Ryan Tannehill will start if Levis can’t play against Jacksonville.
New York Jets at New England Patriots
- Jets: QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles); QB Zach Wilson (concussion); TE Jeremy Ruckert (concussion); G Wes Schweitzer (calf); C Jake Hanson (concussion)
- Patriots: WR DeVante Parker (ribs); TE Hunter Henry (ankle); TE Pharaoh Brown (ribs); OT Trent Brown (illness); EDGE Anfernee Jennings (knee); DT Christian Barmore (knee); LB Jahlani Tavai (tooth); CB Jonathan Jones (knee); CB Myles Bryant (illness); CB Shaun Wade (hip); S Jabrill Peppers,(hamstring); ST Matthew Slater (hamstring)
Jets: Rodgers was never expected to play this season despite being activated from IR, while Wilson has already been ruled out for Week 18. Trevor Siemian will make another starter for Gang Green.
Patriots: Parker left last week’s loss with a rib injury, while Henry has been sidelined for two games by an ankle issue. Both pass catchers were limited on Wednesday. Trent Brown and Bryant were the only Patriots not practicing on Wednesday.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
- Falcons: QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle); C Drew Dalman (ankle); DT Zach Harrison (knee); LB Troy Andersen (pectoral); CB Mike Hughes (concussion)
- Saints: RB Alvin Kamara (ankle); RB Kendre Miller (ankle); WR Chris Olave (ankle); TE Juwan Johnson (chest); OT Landon Young (knee); C Erik McCoy (foot); EDGE Payton Turner (toe); DT Khalen Saunders (concussion); LB Nephi Sewell (knee); S Lonnie Johnson (knee)
Falcons: Atlanta is hopeful Heinicke can play in the regular-season finale after injuring his ankle in Week 18. Desmond Ridder will take back over under center if Heinicke — who was limited today — can’t go in a must-win game.
Dalman and Hughes did not practice on Wednesday. Andersen has been on IR since late September but was designated for return today.

Saints: Whichever team wins this game will win the NFC South title if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose in Week 18. New Orleans is dealing with even more injury problems than Atlanta heading into Sunday’s action.
Kamara failed to practice on Wednesday after spraining his ankle last week. Jamaal Williams will see the bulk of the carries if Kamara doesn’t play this week, while Miller will likely mix in.
Olave is managing an ankle problem. He was limited all last week and played on Sunday; Olave began this week’s preparations with a limited session, as well. Juwan Johnson was also a Wednesday DNP after posting his best game of the season (8-90-1) in Week 18.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
- Buccaneers: QB Baker Mayfield (ribs); WR Trey Palmer (hip); OT Tristan Wirfs (shoulder); TE Ko Kieft (shoulder); CB Carlton Davis (concussion); S Kavon Merriweather (thigh)
- Panthers: RB Miles Sanders (illness); WR DJ Chark (foot); WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette (illness); G Cade Mays (finger); EDGE Marquis Haynes (concussion); LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (groin); CB Jaycee Horn (toe); CB Troy Hill (concussion); K Eddy Pineiro (right hamstring); P Johnny Hekker (personal)
Buccaneers: While Tampa Bay only held a walkthrough on Wednesday, Mayfield was listed as a non-participant. However, Mayfield indicated he would “do everything (he) can to be out there” in a must-win game. If Mayfield sits, Kyle Trask will start under center for the Bucs.
Panthers: Sanders, Smith-Marsette, Haynes, Pineiro, and Hekker failed to practice on Wednesday.
Chark is batting a new foot injury. He was limited on Wednesday, but given his lengthy injury history, it’s fair to be concerned about any issue that pops up for Chark.
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
- Bears: QB Tyson Bagent (illness); WR DJ Moore (ankle); WR Darnell Mooney (concussion); TE Cole Kmet (knee); CB Jaylon Johnson (shoulder); LS Patrick Scales (foot)
- Packers: RB Aaron Jones (knee/finger); RB AJ Dillon (thumb/neck); WR Jayden Reed (chest); WR Christian Watson (hamstring); WR Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle); TE Luke Musgrave (kidney); G Elgton Jenkins (knee/ankle); C Josh Myers (neck); EDGE Preston Smith (ankle); DT T.J. Slaton (knee/foot); LB Quay Walker (shoulder); LB Isaiah McDuffie (concussion/neck); CB Keisean Nixon (quadricep); S Rudy Ford (hamstring); S Zayne Anderson (knee)
Bears: Moore was limited on Wednesday after posting a 9-159-1 line in Chicago’s Week 17 win over the Falcons.
Mooney, who sat out last week’s game with a brain injury, still isn’t practicing. Kmet played on Sunday but was limited to 13 snaps and was not targeted; he didn’t practice today.
Packers: It’s all hands on deck for Green Bay in Week 18. Beat the Bears, and the Packers are in the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
Jones was limited on Wednesday, but Dillon didn’t practice after aggravating his existing injuries in Week 17. Fortunately, Reed, Watson, and Wicks were all limited today after battling injuries and missing games in recent weeks.
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
- Broncos: WR Courtland Sutton (concussion); WR Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring); TE Chris Manhertz (illness); OT Mike McGlinchey (ribs); EDGE Baron Browning (concussion); LB Josey Jewell (back); S Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee)
- Raiders: RB Josh Jacobs (quad); FB Jakob Johnson (back); TE Michael Mayer (toe); OT Kolton Miller (shoulder); Ot Jermaine Eluemunor (knee); OT Thayer Munford (knee/illness); C Andre James (ankle/finger); EDGE Malcolm Koonce (elbow/wrist)
Broncos: 2024 figures to be a year of change for Sean Payton’s Broncos, especially following Russell Wilson’s impending release. Sutton and Mims will get one more shot to put their skills on tape this season — if they can play on Sunday.
Raiders: Jacobs has already missed three games and probably has no reason to return now that Las Vegas has been officially eliminated from the playoffs. He’s scheduled to hit the open market in 2023, provided the Raiders don’t franchise tag him again. Fellow RB Zamir White has seen 20+ touches in each of Jacobs’ absences.
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
- Eagles: WR DeVonta Smith (ankle); EDGE Haason Reddick (illness); DT Jordan Davis (ankle); LB Zach Cunningham (knee); CB Darius Slay (knee); CB Avonte Maddox (knee)
- Giants: QB Tyrod Taylor (back); C John Michael Schmitz (shin); LB Carter Coughlin (shoulder); CB Deonte Banks (shoulder); CB Darnay Holmes (foot); S Jason Pinnock (toe)
Eagles: Smith was in a walking boot after Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals and didn’t practice on Wednesday. His participation will bear monitoring, but Philadelphia could take it easy with Smith, especially given that the club is unlikely to usurp the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East title.
Meanwhile, the Eagles’ secondary is getting healthier. Slay has missed three straight games but was a limited practice participant today. Maddox, who on Sunday played for the first time since Week 2, was also limited.
Giants: Taylor was limited for Wednesday’s walkthrough, but there’s been no indication he’s in danger of missing New York’s regular-season finale.
Banks was back on a limited basis today after sitting out the Giants’ Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Schmitz and Pinnock were the only New York players not participating on Wednesday.
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
- Seahawks: RB Kenneth Walker III (shoulder)
- Cardinals: TBD
Seahawks: TBD
Cardinals: Left tackle D.J. Humphries tore his ACL in Week 17 and will be placed on IR. Given how late in the season he injured his knee, Humphries may not be ready for the start of the 2024 season.
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers
- Chiefs: RB Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder); WR Rashee Rice (hamstring); WR Kadarius Toney (hip); TE Travis Kelce (neck); DT Chris Jones (groin); CB L’Jarius Sneed (calf)
- Chargers: WR Keenan Allen (heel); WR Josh Palmer (concussion); TE Stone Smartt (shoulder); OT Trey Pipkins (wrist); G Zion Johnson (neck); EDGE Joey Bosa (foot); EDGE Justin Hollins (shoulder); DT Nick Williams (shoulder); LB Kenneth Murray Jr. (shoulder); CB Deane Leonard (heel)
Chiefs: Kansas City cannot be moved out of the No. 3 seed, and head coach Andy Reid has already announced Patrick Mahomes will not start in the Chiefs’ regular-season finale. With nothing on the line, KC will likely sit many of its primary contributors in Week 18.
MORE: NFL QB Power Rankings Week 18
Chargers: Sidelined since Week 14, Allen probably has no reason to return for a meaningless game on Sunday. Palmer (assuming he clears the concussion protocol), Quentin Johnston, and Alex Erickson will work as Easton Stick’s top wideouts.
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
- Rams: TE Tyler Higbee, OUT (shoulder); OL Joe Noteboom, OUT (foot)
- 49ers: RB Christian McCaffrey, OUT (calf); OT Jaylon Moore (concussion); G Jon Feliciano (back); WR Jauan Jennings (concussion); WR Ray-Ray McCloud (ribs); S Tashaun Gipson (quad); S Ji’Ayir Brown (knee)
Rams: Head coach Sean McVay announced Wednesday that Los Angeles will rest QB Matthew Stafford, RB Kyren Williams, WR Cooper Kupp, DT Aaron Donald, and LB Ernest Jones in Week 18. The Rams have already clinched a Wild Card berth and don’t seem to have a preference between the No. 6 and No. 7 seeds.
Higbee and Noteboom will also sit out of LA’s regular-season finale, but they’re dealing with injury issues that would have sidelined them regardless of what was on the line.
49ers: CMC’s calf strain is considered mild, but San Francisco can take it easy with the NFC’s No. 1 seed already secured. McCaffrey will receive two full weeks of rest before the 49ers play in the Divisional Round.
QB Brock Purdy isn’t injured, but head coach Kyle Shanahan will rest his starting quarterback in Week 18. As such, Rams-49ers has become an all-backup QB battle featuring two former top-three draft picks in Carson Wentz and Sam Darnold.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders
- Cowboys: RB Rico Dowdle (ankle); G Tyler Smith (foot); EDGE Dorance Armstrong (ankle); DT Jonathan Hankins (knee/ankle); S Malik Hooker (ankle/illness); S Juanyeh Thomas (illness)
- Commanders: QB Jacoby Brissett (hamstring); OT Andrew Wylie (elbow); DT Jonathan Allen (knee); DT John Ridgeway (foot); CB Kendall Fuller (knee); CB Benjamin St-Juste (concussion); CB Quan Martin (chest); CB Christian Holmes (concussion); CB Tariq Castro-Fields (shoulder)
Cowboys: Smith didn’t practice Wednesday, and it remains unclear if the second-year guard will suit up against Washington. Dallas is working on a deal to reunite with free agent offensive lineman La’el Collins.
On the plus side, Hankins returned to practice on Wednesday, suiting up for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 15.
Commanders: Brissett was scheduled to start for Washington in Week 17, but the veteran QB had to sit out the club’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers after injuring his hamstring in practice. Sam Howell will remain the Commanders’ starter to close the season.
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (SNF)
- Bills: EDGE Leonard Floyd (rib/rest); S Micah Hyde (neck); S Damar Hamlin shoulder)
- Dolphins: RB Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle); RB De’Von Achane (toe/ribs); WR Tyreek Hill (ankle/personal); WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle); OT Terron Armstead (knee/ankle/back); OT Austin Jackson (oblique); G Robert Hunt (hamstring); OL Liam Eichenberg (calf/ankle); OL Lester Cotton (hip); DT Zach Sieler (illness); LB Jerome Baker (knee); LB David Long Jr. (knee); LB Duke Riley (ankle); CB Xavien Howard (foot); S Jevon Holland (knees)
Bills: Buffalo is healthy heading into its AFC East-deciding showdown against the Dolphins on Sunday night. Every Bill participated in at least some capacity in Wednesday’s walkthrough. Buffalo listed QB Josh Allen on its injury report with neck and right finger issues, but he fully practiced today.
Dolphins: Miami has one of the longest injury reports in the league entering Week 18. Head coach Mike McDaniel expressed no concern that Mostert would miss last week’s game — and then the veteran RB sat out of the Dolphins’ loss to the Ravens. Mostert didn’t practice Wednesday, while Achane was limited.
Hill was also limited by an ankle injury and had to leave practice after reports indicated his home had caught fire. Waddle, who is dealing with a high ankle sprain, did not practice on Wednesday. However, McDaniel has not ruled out the club’s WR2 for their regular-season finale.
Armstead, Sieler, and Howard also failed to practice today.
