Who Plays, TV Channel, Start Time, Live Stream Options, and More

Sunday Night Football features two teams with the playoffs and playoff seeding on their mind. One of which is one of the NFL’s elite teams, while the other is fighting to prove they belong in that conversation.

As the season grows longer, every game begins to hold more meaning, especially for teams looking to secure a divisional crown. What time does the NFL game start tonight, and how can you watch it?

Who Plays on Sunday Night Football Tonight?

  • Teams: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles
  • Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas

This week’s NFC East matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys is setting up to be one of the best games of the year. Two teams jockeying for a division crown and playoff seeding, fueled by a deep-rooted rivalry sparked by two fan bases that do not like each other at all.

The Eagles come into the matchup after getting their doors blown down by the big bad San Francisco 49ers and will look to get that bad taste out of their mouth at AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Tonight marks an important matchup for the Eagles as they certainly do not want to lose two in a row. If they were to do so, it would be the first time that they relinquished the divisional lead this season.

On the Cowboys’ side of things, Dallas comes into the prime-time matchup as one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They’ve won five in a row, with their last loss actually coming to the Eagles.

However, despite the tear they’ve been on, aided by their quarterback Dak Prescott forcing himself into the MVP conversation, some still have doubts about Dallas’ legitimacy. The Cowboys have only beaten one team with a winning record in this stretch, and it took everything they had to do so last Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks.

While they are clearly one of the NFC’s bigger threats, it’s a marquee win like they could potentially get on Sunday night against Philadelphia, that has stopped people from putting the Cowboys in the same tier with the 49ers or Eagles when they discuss the conference threats.

Both teams have more than enough reasons for needing a win. Not all of it is just for standings and seeding, and as a result, we as fans of the game are going to just enjoy.
