Stefon Diggs, Josh Downs, and Michael Wilson Impacting Week 10 Fantasy Rankings

We are at an integral point in the fantasy football season where managers can see the playoffs on the horizon, making start/sit decisions even more nerve-wracking. What is the latest injury news regarding Stefon Diggs, Josh Downs, and Michael Wilson?

Latest News and Injury Updates Impacting Fantasy

Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills

Nobody likes a late-week addition to the injury report, especially when it is the WR3 on the year, Stefon Diggs. After a Week 9 performance of 86 yards and one TD, Diggs showed up on the injury report with a limited practice due to a back injury. This was a new injury, and he had not been on the injury report earlier in the week.

The Bills play the Monday night game against Denver, so perhaps the team was being cautious, and we should know more on Saturday. I expect Diggs to play, but if he is sidelined on Monday, there would be an uptick in snaps and targets for Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir, and TE Dalton Kincaid. Diggs is WR1 in PFN’s Consensus Rankings.

Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Rookie WR Josh Downs has been a bright spot for the Colts when QB Anthony Richardson went down; unfortunately, he has been battling a knee injury. He was nursing it prior to Week 9 but went ahead and took the field. He only played 20% of the snaps before he reaggravated it and had to leave the game. Downs only managed one catch on one target before he had to exit.

Downs did not practice at all Wednesday through Friday this week, but the Colts listed him as questionable for this week’s game. The added variable is that the Colts play their Week 10 game in Frankfurt, Germany, so it seems extremely doubtful that Downs will be able to suit up despite the questionable tag.

Alec Pierce is also questionable, so expect Michael Pittman to be a target hog against the Patriots.

Michael Wilson, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Rookie WR Michael Wilson has yet to play with QB Kyler Murray in an NFL game, and he might have to wait a little bit longer. It has been tough for all the offensive weapons in Arizona this year, but Wilson has shown flashes.

Wilson has been battling a shoulder injury as of late but did manage to put together a week of limited practices leading up to Week 10. He was unable to play last week against Cleveland, but it looks like a possibility for him to play against Atlanta on Sunday. He has a questionable tag going into Sunday.
