Week 6’s Sunday slate comes to an end with an NFC East heavyweight matchup. Sunday Night Football tonight will showcase two teams that are both fighting for the top spot in their division while also trying to climb the overall NFL standings. Who is playing tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it?

Sunday Night Football tonight will feature two teams with Super Bowl aspirations when the Dallas Cowboys head north to take on the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas heads into this contest with second-string QB Cooper Rush once again at the controls. The longtime backup now has a sterling 5-0 career record dating back to his first career start last season.
Fortunately for the Cowboys, the team hasn’t had to rely on Rush to carry to load, as the Dallas defense has been impeccable through five games. Dallas currently allows just 311.4 yards per game (seventh best in the NFL) and a measly 14.4 points per game (third best), meaning Rush has simply needed to guide the offense while avoiding any back-breaking mistakes.

To his credit, the 28-year-old Rush has done that perfectly, as he’s managed a 4-0 TD-INT, 167.8 yards per game, and a 93.9 passer rating through his four starts. This week could be different, though, as Dallas is facing by far its biggest challenge to date in the undefeated Eagles.
Philadelphia ranks within the top five in yards per game both offensively and defensively, and it’s unlikely that Dallas will be able to go home with a W by scoring anywhere near its current weekly average of 18.6 points.
The matchup to watch in this one: Philadelphia’s vaunted offensive line against Dallas’ dangerous pass rush. Who wins the battle up front will likely dictate whether the Eagles can continue scoring points in explosive bunches, thereby determining whether Rush will have to finally put the team on his back and win this one through the air, something he’s been rarely asked to do.
The opening betting lines in this one favor the Eagles (-6.5). That number makes some sense when you consider that the Cowboys still don’t have Dak Prescott back under center and are heading into the home stadium of the league’s last undefeated team.
The Eagles have won by a margin exceeding the line three out of five times this season, but Dallas’ defense will present the stiffest test yet for Hurts and company.

“Penultimate change alert! This spread has jumped from minus-5 only a few days ago. That said, I love Philly winning by 10+ points, so the betting line doesn’t phase me. Dallas has held some subpar passing games in check recently.
The Eagles are on an entirely different level, and the Cowboys are third to last in first downs. They have little room for error. That won’t cut it against a 5-0 team.”
