Shedeur Sanders 2025 NFL Draft Projection

Shedeur Sanders is widely expected to be a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. At this time, it appears as though Sanders and Miami Hurricanes Cam Ward will be the first two QB’s taken later this April. With various quarterback needy teams at the top of the draft board, people have been actively discussing which teams both Sanders and Ward will be selected by.

In recent weeks, it was announced, via another “Well Off Media,” video, that Shedeur Sanders’ first two top-30 meetings with NFL franchises would be with the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants, both teams who pick within the top three.

In PFSN’s recent 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from Ben Rolfe, the Browns selected Shedeur Sanders No. 2 overall.

As Rolfe notes, “while the Cleveland Browns may not be the most desirable landing spot for off-field elements for Shedeur Sanders, it is far from a bad situation for the Colorado quarterback. The Browns have a lot of pieces in place around Sanders and were really only held back by the quarterback play in 2024.

“Sanders is a promising NFL prospect. He is a pocket passer with enough mobility to make him effective. There are concerns about his arm strength, but he mitigates those with his compact release and impressive accuracy. Those mechanics can hide concerns when pressured, which is a concern with the Browns’ offensive line ranking 20th last season.”
