PJ Walker, Rachaad White, and Cade Otton

Hello! If you’re betting on Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers player props for Week 7, you’ve come to the right place.

We’ve analyzed each team’s highest-probability game scripts to assess the most likely outcomes, including which players are in line to thrive more than anticipated as well as fall short of expectations.

Top Panthers vs. Buccaneers Player Props To Target

The following NFL betting recommendations are based on proprietary PFN predictive analytics culled from decades of NFL historical data. Using this data, I’ve built dozens of models showing actionable probabilities of better-than-expected and worse-than-expected outcomes. All prop bets are based on DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and BetMGM.

PJ Walker Prop Bets

In Week 7, the Panthers will trot out their fourth-string QB against one of the league’s toughest defenses. And not just any tough defense, but one on a 3-3 team that still has Super Bowl aspirations. A motivated defense. Perhaps a very angry defense.

PJ Walker is in an impossible spot. As bettors, this is not the time to get sentimental. But Walker also isn’t your ordinary fourth-string QB. He was a four-year starter at Temple, where he played with the recently traded Robbie Anderson. Walker performed admirably (all things considered) against 11th-ranked Notre Dame in 2015, and then even better without Anderson in 2016 versus seventh-ranked Penn State.

I’m not saying there’s a parallel here. But Walker doesn’t seem like a wilter (“one who wilts”). The 27-year-old threw only 16 passes last week in a game that wasn’t decided until the fourth quarter. Assuming Tampa Bay cruises in this one, I expect Walker to throw far more, resulting in more yards than expected.

Cade Otton Player Props

If you’ve read my stuff for a while, you know that when I’m wrong, I’m completely wrong. Unutterably wrong. The kind of wrong that makes my kids question whether they’re actually related to me.

And sometimes I’m right. Rookie Cade Otton is one example. I’ve been pushing him on PFN and through social media since June. The Bucs drafted Otton with the first selection in the fourth round, interestingly one pick before the Texans took Dameon Pierce. Otton was not a throwaway selection. He’s a future top-10 NFL TE. Bettors should view him as an ascending talent.

Rachaad White Player Props

Who was the first person to go out on a limb? Perhaps a female Homo habilis named Ochini who climbed a Baobab tree (not easy, by the way) to reach the four newly laid eggs of a lilac-breasted roller, so she could feed the yokes to her newborn, Ochini Junior.

This is just a theory, of course. There might have been five eggs.

Not unlike Ochini, I’m going out on a limb by betting on Rachaad White to exceed expectations. The rookie has firmly established a niche as a consistently utilized backup to Leonard Fournette. And since I believe this game will get out of hand by the third quarter, if not sooner, I’m all in on White earning the lion’s share of backfield work on the Bucs’ final two or three drives.
