There was a lot of hype surrounding the Green Bay Packers heading into the 2025 NFL season.
Adding Micah Parsons was a big deal to this defense, as he was the final piece to a defensive front that was already said to be strong.
Parsons has been on a snap count through the first three weeks of the season, but his presence has been felt in a big way.
His game-wrecking abilities have already come through on tape, and having him on the team has allowed his teammates to shine and feel empowered to play better than they have in previous years.

Teams often have to double-team Parsons if they want any chance of stopping him, which gives his teammates the time they need to get to the quarterback and break up a play.
All three of those defensive linemen are rising to the occasion, and whether it’s Parsons being on the roster, Covington’s influence as a coach, or a mixture of both, the Packers have to be happy with where things are at.
Slowing down the Detroit Lions in Week 1 and the Washington Commanders in Week 2 said a lot about this defense’s ceiling moving forward.
If this strong play continues, especially from their defensive line and linebackers, the Packers could be a matchup nightmare for anyone who stands in their way.
