On Tuesday evening, the Sacramento Kings played the Dallas Mavericks (at home) in California.

The Kings lost by a score of 100-98.

Russell Westbrook finished with 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 4/15 from the field and 1/7 from three-point range in 31 minutes.

Westbrook came into the night with averages of 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 42.1% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range in 36 games.

He is in his first year playing for Sacramento after spending the 2024-25 season with the Denver Nuggets.

With their loss to the Mavs, the Kings dropped to 8-29 in 37 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Western Confernece.

They are also in the middle of a six-game losing streak.

Following the Mavs, the Kings will play their next game on Friday when they visit Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

With their victory over the Kings, the Mavs dropped to 14-23 in 37 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 4-12 in 16 games on the road away from Dallas.

Following the Kings, the Mavs will play their next game on Thursday when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

Westbrook will likely go down as one of the best 50 players in NBA history.

He has also spent time playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets over 18 seasons.
