Chicago Bears fans are genuinely excited about the 2024 NFL season.

For an organization that has experienced a lot of heartbreak and pain, feeling excited is often met with cautious optimism.

After all, the Bears have only made it to the playoffs once in the last five years.

One of the biggest historic downfalls for the Bears is their lack of consistency at the quarterback position.

The Bears have never had a 4,000-yard passer in team history, a general marker of a solid quarterback.

While he hasn’t played a snap yet, Bears fans and analysts across the league are saying great things about Caleb Williams, and that he is a beacon of hope, a light for this team.

Kurt Warner joined in on the action in a recent appearance on the NFL Network, saying, “I do expect him, with those weapons around him, to have a very, very solid rookie year.”

As Warner indicated, the Bears have made several moves to try and give Williams the best possible rookie experience.

They added D.J. Moore last year, who should be the WR1 in this offense.

Rome Odunze was also taken in the first round of this year’s draft, a sign that the Bears, in a sense, are going all-in on their offense.

They believe in what Williams can be, and what he can become, and are more than willing to take the steps to set him up to succeed.

Will the prophecy be fulfilled for this generational prospect?
