On Monday night, the Houston Rockets played the Orlando Magic (at home) in Texas.
The Rockets won (in overtime) by a score of 117-113.
Kevin Durant finished the victory with 35 points, five rebounds, six assists and one block while shooting 13/24 from the field and 2/8 from three-point range in 45 minutes of playing time.

Durant was traded to the Rockets (via the Phoenix Suns) over the offseason.
The future Hall of Famer is averaging 25.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 40.0% from three-point range in 12 games.

With their victory over the Magic, the Rockets improved to 9-3 in 12 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak (and 5-1 in six games at home).
Following the Magic, the Rockets will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio.
As for the Magic, they dropped to 7-7 in 14 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 3-4 in the seven games they have played on the road outside of Orlando.
Following the Rockets, the Magic will play their next game on Tuesday night when they host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
