On Thursday night, the Detroit Lions pulled off a close victory over the arch-rival Green Bay Packers.
As time expired, Kicker Jake Bates blasted the game-winning field goal to give Dan Campbell and Co. the 34-31 win.
Speaking of Campbell, the Lions’ head coach had an incredible locker room speech after the team earned its 12th win of the season.
“I told you you’d never forget this game…You always find a way to win…This has been in the making, men,” Campbell told his team postgame.

This Lions team continues to be in a great place because of Campbell’s job in the Motor City.
He took a team that was 3-13-1 and built them into a real Super Bowl contender.
Campbell has guided the Lions to a total record of 26-7 (including the playoffs) over the last two seasons combined.
After making the NFC Championship Game last season for the first time in decades, this Lions team has the chance to take it one step further this year.
After clinching a playoff spot and moving one step closer to grabbing the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC on Thursday night, the Lions and their fans are living in a dreamland.
As long as quarterback Jared Goff and the offense continue to be prolific and the defense continues to be gritty, the Lombardi Trophy can be well within reach for this hungry team and its fan base.
