Analyst Reveals His No. 1 Pick In A 2024 NFL Re-Draft

It is very easy to go back and wonder if each NFL team made the right pick during the previous draft after seeing the product during the season.

A lot of Chicago Bears fans could be doing that right now as the team is 4-12 with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams taking his lumps often.

However, FOX Sports analyst Danny Parkins believes the Bears made the right call by taking Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

“I’m go down with Caleb Williams. That’s my guy. … He is the fourth-most sacked quarterback in NFL history,” Parkins said on “Breakfast Ball.”

Despite everything crumbling all around him, Williams has managed to hang in there and put up decent numbers as a rookie quarterback.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has thrown 19 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

His 3,393 passing yards are the most by a rookie quarterback in the history of the Bears organization.

Of course, this season has not gone well, at all, for the team and its fan base.

But for people to immediately jump off the Williams ship, they could be either misinformed or simply lack a little bit of patience.

This is a player who has all of the talent in the world to be great.

He likely just needs some competent coaching because it is very hard to find a quarterback who has had success with multiple head coaches and multiple offensive coordinators in the same season.

This will be a very important offseason for the Bears as they look to find the right head coach who can work with Williams.
