Before starting his 2026 season, Djokovic, dressed in an all-beige Lacoste outfit complete with white sneakers and what appeared to be Prada sunglasses, enjoyed some fun moments in the Saudi Arabian desert with Jelena and friends.

The Serb shared a carousel of pictures on social media flaunting his outfit and the time spent in the desert. He also posted an adorable photo of himself and Jelena making a heart shape with their hands. It is worth noting that the 24-time Grand Slam champion joined Lacoste as a brand ambassador in 2017.

“Some downtime in Arabia before match mode in Australia 😎,” Djokovic captioned his Instagram post.

In 2025, Djokovic participated in two tournaments in Australia: the Brisbane International and the Australian Open. In the singles event at the ATP 250 tournament, he won against Rinky Hijikata and Gaël Monfils before losing to Reilly Opelka in the quarterfinals.

The former World No. 1 also competed in the doubles event in Brisbane, partnering with Nick Kyrgios. They won their first-round match against Andreas Mies and Alexander Erler but were eliminated in the second round by Nikola Mektić and Michael Venus.

At the Melbourne Major, Djokovic triumphed over Nishesh Basavareddy, Jaime Faria, Tomáš Macháč, Jiří Lehečka, and Carlos Alcaraz. His campaign ended in the semifinals against eventual runner-up Alexander Zverev after the Serb retired due to a torn muscle in his left leg.

Djokovic will begin his 2026 tennis season by participating in the Adelaide International, scheduled to take place from January 12 to January 17, 2026. The matches of the tournament will take place on the outdoor hard courts at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.

In addition to the former World No. 1, other players expected to participate in this ATP 250 hard-court tournament include Jiří Lehečka, Tallon Griekspoor, Francisco Cerúndolo, Arthur Rinderknech, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Tommy Paul, and João Fonseca, among others.

Djokovic last competed in the Adelaide International in 2023. He was the top seed, and he defeated Constant Lestienne, Quentin Halys, Denis Shapovalov, and Daniil Medvedev to advance to the final. In the championship match, he triumphed over Sebastian Korda to claim his 92nd ATP Tour singles title.
